Our Mission: Preserving Humanity in Sales

November 4, 2023
Nejc Škoberne

As AI gets better, we're all curious: what's the future of sales going to look like? Will we still have people chatting with people, or will robots take over that chat on both ends?

Selling and buying, especially in the B2B world, is all about the mix of feelings and smarts that both the buyer and seller bring to the table. Sellers look for appreciation and respect, and buyers want to feel taken care of. (And yet, often, both sides keep a poker face about these emotions.)

No AI can replace this. There's something about dealing with another person that makes us feel more human.

We at Sellestial love software and AI. We're all for things being automatic and smooth. But we're humans first. And in the world of selling, nothing beats genuine human connections.

While we're busy building the next generation of sales tools, we promise to keep what's human about business. We live by the rule: "If a computer can do it, it should do it." But since computers can't really get the whole respect, feeling, and caring thing, we're here to clear away the rest – the stuff that's been getting in the way of being more human in sales.

"So you're getting rid of the boring admin stuff in sales," a sales rep realized when I showed them Sellestial. Precisely. Admin tasks have been making sales less personal since computers came into play. A bit ironic, no?

Welcome to the more human side of sales. Welcome to Sellestial.
